PROJECT MANAGEMENT WITHIN A FOOD MANUFACTURING FACILITY IS REQUIRED!!
Responsibilities:
Work closely with R&D/Sales/Customer/Finance and Plant Operations to understand customer project requirements for new Business Opportunities.
Implement and ensure the New Product Development process is followed from New Project Request to the completion at Full Production/First Shipment.
Lead Continuous Improvement projects aimed at reducing costs and improving processes.
Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Lead and facilitate all New Item Meetings, and other company project meetings as assigned.
Coordinate with Plant Manufacturing and Maintenance teams timeline for the installation of needed equipment and processes for new Customer Items, ensuring communications are in place with Plant Scheduling Team for line time.
Ensure the timeline for warehouse moves is on schedule.
Assist in the development and gathering of requirements with key stakeholders of project plans with well-defined milestones.
Schedule, coordinate daily/weekly meetings to ensure prioritization of tasks, status updates and address project needs.
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
Manage budget and expenses to targets.
Manage and communicate meeting follow ups with stake holders.
Support Senior Management by preparing and providing periodic status information on all open projects.
Evaluate and assess result of project.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) and three plus years of project administrator experience in a manufacturing company, with multiple project focus.

Excellent verbal and written communication
