Key Responsibilities for the Production Planner include:

  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
  • Monitor progress and adjust schedules for changes in demand or delays.
  • Communicate updates and priorities across departments.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and generate performance reports.

Job Requirements

Qualifications of the Production Planner include: 

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory management.
