Responsibilities for the Assistant Branch Manager include:

  • Provide outstanding in-branch support for members through deposits, withdrawals, account services, and lending assistance

  • Recommend financial products that fit individual needs

  • Guide members toward resources that promote financial confidence

  • Manage daily cash operations and perform balancing and audit reviews

  • Review reports, address discrepancies, and ensure smooth daily functions

  • Contribute to achieving branch performance and growth goals

  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation

  • Ensure branch adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulations

  • Support office management and uphold a professional, secure work environment

  • Supervise and motivate teller and member service teams

  • Coordinate schedules, assist in hiring, and provide ongoing training and coaching

 

 


 

Job Requirements

Qualifications for the Assistant Branch Manager include:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in retail banking, credit union operations, or financial services

  • Background in staff supervision or leadership preferred

  • Bilingual - Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish and English languages
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • A passion for helping others and promoting a positive member experience
