We are seeking a motivated Buyer/Planner to support our client's supply chain and production operations. In this role, you’ll help ensure materials, schedules, and suppliers are aligned so we can meet customer expectations and keep production running efficiently. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers while managing day-to-day planning and purchasing activities.

Convert ERP data and planned orders into accurate production plans.
Keep production orders current to maintain clean MRP signals.
Collaborate with Customer Service to adjust production schedules as customer needs change.
Prepare and update production, work-in-process, and inventory reports.
Communicate daily with the production floor to resolve workflow or efficiency issues.
Lead weekly cross-functional meetings to coordinate workload and support revenue goals.
Review MRP action messages and respond to inventory/production demands.
Create and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system.
Track supplier costs, delivery performance, and lead times.
Support cost savings efforts and supplier performance improvement initiatives.
Update and review supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Maintain predictable, reliable attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent skills/experience).
Working knowledge of ERP systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint required).
Experience with production scheduling.
Strong negotiation and cost-improvement mindset.
Ability to follow established procedures and recommend improvements.
Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.
