Responsibilities of the Production Planner

• Coordinate daily and weekly production activities to support customer deadlines
• Create and maintain manufacturing schedules and planning reports
• Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support production flow
• Communicate with operations, customer support, and warehouse teams regarding schedule updates and priorities
• Track work-in-process and production status updates
• Assist in resolving scheduling, inventory, and workflow challenges
• Prepare and review production-related documentation and data reports
• Support continuous workflow improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualifications for the Production Planner

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production coordination, scheduling, or planning preferred
• Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Preferred Background for the Production Planner

• Manufacturing or production environment experience
• Exposure to scheduling, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred but not required
