Position Overview:


The Payroll Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to Time & Attendance (T&A). This role, based in downtown Lancaster, is essential in ensuring accurate time tracking, policy compliance, and timely issue resolution, while supporting managers and HR

 

Responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator Include:

  • Act as the first-level support for employee inquiries regarding Time & Attendance, delivering timely and accurate guidance.

  • Process T&A-related transactions including corrections, adjustments, and approvals, ensuring alignment with company attendance policies and labor laws.

  • Collaborate with Payroll and HR Operations teams to investigate and resolve T&A discrepancies.

  • Provide ongoing support to managers in the effective use of UKG Time Management (UTM) for scheduling, approvals, and reporting.

  • Promote accountability by ensuring manager adherence to T&A policies and deadlines.

  • Troubleshoot system-related issues and escalate as necessary.

  • Generate, review, and analyze UTM reports to identify patterns, compliance concerns, or data inconsistencies.

  • Assist HR Business Partners with attendance-related investigations by providing relevant data and insights.

  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of attendance-related policies through data-driven recommendations.

Job Requirements

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), particularly UTM (UKG Time Management), is strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Previous experience in a payroll, timekeeping, or HR support role is a plus.
