School Office Clerk

We have an opening for a reliable Office Clerk for a 2-month temporary position with a local school in Lancaster county!  The hours for this position are M-F 7:30am-4pm.

The School Office Clerk will be required to complete several criminal background checks including the FBI, Child Abuse and Criminal Clearance checks prior to starting.

The School Office Clerk will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Greeting visitors 
  • Making announcements over the intercom
  • Scheduling facility usage
  • Processing requests 
  • Typing correspondence
  • Entering data into the computer system
  • Filing materials
  • Photocopying and distributing documents
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming mail

Job Requirements

The School Office Clerk MUST meet the following requirements:

  • Willingness to complete the required criminal background check screenings
  • Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute
  • 1+ years of clerical / administrative experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
