Maintenance Mechanic 

Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for safe and reliable machine operation. Multiple shifts available for permanent positions.  Duties to include (but not limited to) proper preventative maintenance and repair to equipment and to maintain the building and production lines. All duties are to be performed in a safe and timely manner and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Great Opportunity!  Great Pay and Benefits!  Pay $25 to $32/hr. DOE

 Maintenance / Maintenance Mechanic Job Functions: 

• Maintain production
• Support Maintenance Manager by identifying any known problems or by requesting parts needed to maintain or repair equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production lines.  
• Locates sources of equipment problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, using precision measuring, and testing instruments.  
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand/power tools; examining form and texture of parts.  
• Fabricates repairs by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Electrical/controls, PLC programming, Welding/Fabrication as needed 

Maintenance / Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:  

• Mechanical Abilities that include basic math
• Read and follow manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications, operations manuals, etc.
• Electrical background helpful
• Previous machine maintenance experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have excellent attendance ability, verifiable references, and reliable transportation.
