Job Description

 Highlights for the Data Processing Clerk / Admin Assistant  

  • Great for detail oriented candidate 
  • Great for candidate great with numbers or with accounting support background 
  • Like working independently and as a team 
  • Monday to Friday - 8 AM to 4:30 PM 
  • Up to $20/hr. 

Key Responsibilities for the Data Processing Clerk/Admin Assist:

  • Gift Processing Data Entry:
    • Record financial contributions and maintain records.
    • Ensure compliance with gift accounting procedures.
  • Donor Acknowledgement:
    • Prepare and distribute gift receipts and acknowledgements per IRS regulations.
    • Manage pledge adjustments, reminders, and collections.
  • Coordination:
    • Communicate gift and fund information to relevant departments
    • Submit electronic deposits and handle cash deposits for gifts.

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications for the Data Processing Clerk / Admin Assistant  include:

  • Detail-oriented with strong data management skills.
  • Strong math skills
  • Knowledge of MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • The Data Processing Clerk / Admin Assistant will be a collaborative team player
  • Knowledge of gift processing and IRS regulations preferred
