Customer Service Inside Sales Representative needed for a full-time opening with a local building materials company!

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Flexible

• 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting international sales operations and customer engagement. This position involves lead generation, sales support, project coordination, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct lead generation research and utilize sales lead resources to identify potential customers and projects.
• Support International Account Managers with project execution, including supplier coordination, logistics, and materials management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering product information.
• Promote products and services to new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and project details.
• Analyze competitor trends to identify new sales opportunities.
• Assist with administrative tasks and warehouse operations as needed.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain showroom organization to support sales efforts.
• Coordinate deliveries and inventory movements, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED,
• Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and computer proficiency.
• Experience in inventory management and inside sales is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and ability to willingness to operate a pallet jack if needed
• Basic math skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery and uneven surfaces.
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen

Work Environment:

• Combination of office and warehouse/fabrication settings.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and warehouse machinery.
