Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant include:
Dive into product costs, margins, and variances to uncover insights that drive efficiency.
Keep inventory and material costs accurate and up to date in the ERP system.
Partner with operations, finance, and IT teams to streamline processes and solve challenges.
Support monthly close, prepare journal entries, and help with reconciliations.
Take the lead on cycle counts and physical inventories.
Provide analysis and reports that highlight savings opportunities and improve profitability.

Qualifications for the Cost Accountant include:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3–5 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
Public accounting experience is a bonus.
Background in pharmaceutical or lean manufacturing environments is a big plus.
ERP knowledge (Oracle EBS or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
Someone who’s detail-oriented, analytical, and great at collaborating across teams.
