We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and financial activities at our client's Lancaster manufacturing facility. This position serves as the site’s senior finance leader, partnering closely with plant leadership to drive financial accuracy, operational insight, and strong internal controls. Direct all plant accounting activities including general ledger and month-end close
Ensure timely, accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Oversee balance sheet integrity and reconciliation processes
Maintain and strengthen site-level internal controls
Serve as the primary financial resource for plant leadership
Manage standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
Monitor labor, material usage, scrap, and production efficiencies
Partner with operations to improve BOM accuracy and cost transparency
Provide actionable analysis to support margin improvement initiatives
Evaluate financial impact of production performance metrics
Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
Analyze performance against budget and provide KPI-driven insights
Support capital expenditure planning and financial justifications
Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and asset tracking
Assist with audit support and ensure compliance with company policies

Qualifications for the Controller include:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
CPA preferred (or actively pursuing certification)
6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory controls
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Proven ability to work independently in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
