Job Description

We are searching for a Controller for our client's manufacturing company in Lancaster!  This is a permanent, direct placement opportunity!  Fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company!

Responsibilities for the Controller include:

  • Manage operations of the accounting department
  • Ensure that payables are paid in a timely manner
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
  • Process payroll
  • Monitor debt levels
  • Analyze capital investments, pricing and contract negotiations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepare budgets and annual reports
  • Other duties as needed

Job Requirements

 

Qualifications for the Controller include:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with senior management
  • Knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets
  • Working knowledge of product profitability analysis
  • Excellent MS Office skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to new concepts and tools
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting
  • Experience in food manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial reporting and tax filings
  • Post secondary education in related field
