We have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable associate to join a growing company in Harrisburg! This is a full-time position, parking is provided! This accounts payable specialist position supports the finance department serving as the primary contact for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records and assisting with deposits and recording of cash receipts.
Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Associate include:
- Review invoices for payment of goods and services
- Assign general ledger account coding to each invoice and check request after reviewing
- Prepare and process accounts payable checks and manual checks for ACH payments
- AP Specialist is responsible for maintaining and keeping the mail log current for all outgoing checks
- Prepare cash disbursement vouchers, checks
- Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and accounts payable files. Monitor individual accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve any invoice discrepancies
- Answer all vendor inquiries
- Prepares deposits of payments collected
- Reconcile credit card receipts to the credit card statement monthly
