Job Description

Accounting Associate position in Lancaster, PA. 

What we offer all Accounting Associates:

  • Work Schedule:  July through December - Monday through Thursday from 6am-4pm  AND   January through June- Monday through Friday from 7:30-4pm
  • Outstanding benefits package when permanent

The Tax Processing Associate responsibilities include:   

  • Review local earned income tax returns, process payments for taxes,
  • Prepare correspondence and communicate professionally with taxpayers. 
  • Accurately entering data into the computer system
  • Assisting taxpayers in-person, over the phone and via email
  • Clerical duties including scanning, filing and photo-copying

Job Requirements

The Accounting Associate MUST meet the following requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to type 40+ wpm
  • Detail oriented / Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service-oriented demeanor
  • Strong math skills
