We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Clerk for a long term, temporary position in Lancaster!  The hours are M-TH 7am-4:30pm and Fridays 7am-11am.

The Purchasing Clerk will ensure the timely processing of purchase requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately type all required information from the purchase request to the purchase order
  • Perform data entry and data verification
  • Contact vendors as needed
  • Maintain department files, records and logs
  • Copy, type, file and other clerical responsibilities
  • Resolve issues as required
  • Distribute mail
  • Compose correspondence
  • Prepare requisitions and orders

 

The Purchasing Clerk MUST meet the following requirements:

  • 1+ years working in purchasing
  • Type 45+ wpm
  • Proficient with MS Excel
